Ink

Still in mourning and in no hurry to leave it. Its twin moved on — that one's called Bone.

Ink is a black Victorian gothic wall shelf held up by two ornate corbels carved with curling acanthus leaves and baroque scrolls. A moulded cornice runs along the ledge, like a mantelpiece salvaged from a manor house that's been draped in black crêpe since 1861 and has no plans to take it down.

A black gothic shelf for permanent mourning

It's made for goths who own more candles than plates. Use it as a floating shelf for candles, crystals, potion bottles, small plants, skulls or curiosities. The matte black shows off the carved detail without shouting, and it suits dark bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways, altars and vanity corners.

Hang it next to its twin Bone for a matching pair in black and white. One moved on, one never will.
